Nutty or Spiced? Deliveroo Delivers Easter Surprise with a New Spin on an Old Favourite

  • Deliveroo partners with local bakery Sugar Thieves to create Easter Hot Cross Croissants

Easter is symbolised as the time of the year that presents hope, renewal and new life. If you're staying home or keeping your Easter festivities small this year, Singapore's favourite food delivery service, Deliveroo, has teamed up with local boutique bakery Sugar Thieves to create Hot Cross Croissants, a refreshed take on the traditional hot cross bun for the Easter Day weekend. Celebrate with the ultimate mid-day snack or tea accompaniment for your stay-in weekend, best added as a sweet surprise to your day with your favourite Deliveroo order!

Specially for the occasion, the creative masterminds at Sugar Thieves have whipped up a yummy new take on the iconic Easter hot cross bun. Fresh from the oven, the Hot Cross Croissant from Sugar Thieves is a buttery, flaky croissant marked with a light buttercream cross-shaped frosting, carefully piped atop the pastry in Deliveroo's signature teal colour. Each handmade croissant is filled with a creamy injection of fresh hand-whipped cream that oozes from the crescent-shaped roll when you take a bite, available in one of two flavours of Easter - lightly spiced cinnamon and nutty-roasted carrot cake.

From 10 to 12 April 2020, 90 of these yummy Hot Cross Croissants will be available for redemption across three Deliveroo sites - Deliveroo Food Market at [email protected], Deliveroo Editions Katong and Deliveroo Editions CT Hub 2, complimentary for both delivery and pick-up orders from the stores Mix & Match menus. The flavours will be randomised and gifted to the first ten orders of the day, and are available whilst stocks last.
